Mary Gamble has been involved with horses for more than four decades. Mary was the manager/trainer for fifteen years at Apple Hill Farm prior to purchasing AppleWorks Farm in 2013. Before that she competed in the Amateur Owner hunters. Mary works with all levels of riders with an emphasis on horsemanship and sportsmanship, including developing riders, frequent show competitors and older adults who may be beginning or returning to riding. Mary currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Professional Horsemen's Association wpapha.com.


Mary Greenwood has been teaching with Mary Gamble since 2002. Prior to that Mary managed her own lesson and boarding business at her family's farm in Allison Park. In addition to showing hunters and jumpers, she was active in the Rawlins Creek Pony Club with her daughters and served as a whipper-in with the Saxonburg Hunt. Currently Mary works full time as a veterinary technician.
Showing now and then! The lovely Lady Legs winning Baby Green Hunters at the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club, and homebred mare Spittin' Image at Hartwood Acres in the Amateur Owner Hunters.
